C4CE (Coalition for Community Energy)
The national lead and facilitator for community energy in Australia. Aims to act as a connector for the community energy sector and to have the ability undertake sector wide projects.
ENOVA Energy
Owned by more than 1,600 Australian community shareholders. Supports communities to power themselves with renewable energy that is locally generated, stored, and distributed. Gives give half of the profits (after tax and reinvestment) back to the community via energy efficiency, education, and community projects.
Farming the Sun
Has coordinated a number of bulk-buy programs. A collaboration and community enterprise coordinated by Starfish Initiatives. Starfish is a registered charity and for-purpose sustainability enterprise.
Australian Energy Foundation
The Australian Energy Foundation, formerly known as the Moreland Energy Foundation Limited (MEFL), was established in 2000 by Moreland City Council after the privatisation of the Victorian electricity industry. Initially MEFL worked closely with the residents, businesses, and council in the City of Moreland to deliver on their collective carbon reduction goals, but now has expanded into other regions of Australia.
Nimbin Community Solarfarm
A project of the Nimbin Neighbourhood and Information Centre, in partnership with Rainbow Power Company, generating sustainable employment in Nimbin.
Sunny Shire (Sutherland Shire Community Energy)
Volunteer-based community energy group in the Sutherland Shire. First project, a rooftop solar bulk buy, has helped over 130 shire families get rooftop solar using local solar companies.
Sydney Renewable Power Company
Sydney Renewable Power Company (SRPC) has funded Australia's largest CBD Solar Array on the roofs of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Sydney.

Renew
The Melbourne branch of Renew (formerly known as the Alternative Technology Association) provides a forum for people in the Melbourne region to share their interest in sustainability, including renewable energy, conserving energy, good building design and water conservation. These topics often have a practical slant and include members' hands-on experience.
